Fibromyalgia Respite Retreats

Our Fibromyalgia Respite Retreats are designed to provide both rest and understanding — combining the latest insights into Fibromyalgia science with practical, evidence-informed self-care.

Each retreat offers a gentle mix of guided meditation, breathwork, restorative movement, and education around topics such as neuroplastic pain, pain reprocessing theory, and stress management. Guests leave feeling calmer, more informed, and equipped with new tools to support everyday wellbeing.

Alongside our core retreat, we also offer a series of specialist Fibromyalgia retreats, each exploring a specific aspect of the condition in more depth — such as:

🌿 Fibromyalgia & Emotional Resilience – focusing on mindset, trauma recovery, and nervous system regulation.

🌿 Fibromyalgia & Therapeutic Movement – practical day of yoga, stretching, somatics, mobility and recovery support.

These smaller, topic-led days are perfect for those who’ve attended our main retreat or wish to focus on a particular area of their wellbeing.

What To Expect

Our Fibromyalgia Retreats combine rest, learning, and connection in a safe, supportive environment.
Each retreat blends relaxation, gentle movement, and mind-body education — designed to empower you with knowledge and skills you can use every day.

You’ll explore:

🌿 Fibromyalgia Myth-Busting — separating fact from fiction, guided by the latest clinical and neurological research.

🌿 The Science of Pain — understanding neuroplastic pain, conditioned responses, and Pain Reprocessing Theory (PRT) — and how these discoveries are transforming how we view chronic pain.

🌿 Emerging Research into Autoimmune Dysfunction Theory - looking at the current findings and the longer term implications of this research.

🌿 Somatic Tracking — a mindfulness-based practice to help you observe sensations with curiosity instead of fear, supporting the brain’s ability to reprocess pain signals.

🌿 CBT Concepts for Pain Management — exploring simple, practical cognitive techniques that reshape how the mind interprets pain.

🌿 Microbiome & Inflammation Research — insights into microbiome dysregulation and chronic inflammation, two emerging areas in Fibromyalgia research that may influence immune and nervous system function.

🌿 Diet, Exercise, and Lifestyle Strategies — evidence-informed guidance on nutrition, movement, stress regulation, and sleep — all tailored for those with Fibromyalgia.

🌿 Restorative Practices — including guided meditation, breathwork for stress and pain, and gentle, adaptive movement designed to calm the nervous system and restore confidence in the body.

🌿 Community and Connection — time to share experiences, enjoy coffee and cake, and connect with others who truly understand what it means to live with Fibromyalgia.

Our Approach

Our retreats are grounded in the latest developments in pain science and mind-body medicine. We draw on current research in autoimmune dysfunction, neuroplasticity, Pain Reprocessing Theory, and psychoneuroimmunology to help participants understand how the brain, body, and nervous system interact in chronic pain conditions.

By combining these insights with holistic therapies such as mindfulness, breathwork, movement, and relaxation, we create a powerful, restorative experience that supports healing on every level.

This is not simply a few days of meditation and advice — it’s a space where science meets self-compassion, and where you’ll leave feeling informed, empowered, and more connected to your body than ever before.
