Looking after your wellbeing doesn’t have to mean making big changes. Sometimes it’s about creating a little more space in your week to move, rest, recharge or simply do something that feels good.
At The Barn, you can choose from regular classes, one-to-one treatments, wellbeing retreats, workshops, sound baths and special events. Come every week, book something when you need it, or simply try something new.
There’s no right way to use The Barn. Explore what’s available, find what works for you and make wellbeing fit around your life.

Take some time for yourself with our award-winning team of experienced therapists and practitioners.
Our treatments are never about rushing you in and out. We take the time to understand what you need, tailoring each treatment to you rather than following a one-size-fits-all routine. Whether you’re looking to ease tension, support your physical wellbeing or simply switch off for a while, your time at The Barn is yours.
With a relaxed countryside setting, thoughtful practitioners and space to breathe before heading back into the day, we want the whole experience to feel as good as the treatment itself.

Our classes are designed to give you regular time to move, slow down and look after yourself in a relaxed and welcoming space.
From restorative and yin yoga to sound baths, candlelit sessions and our longer Friday Rest experience, you can choose what works for you and your week. Come along to a regular class, join us for a monthly Slow Sunday or Cosy Cacao Club, or simply drop in when you feel like you need some time out.
There’s no pressure to keep up and no need to be experienced — just book your space and come as you are.

A whole morning with nowhere else you need to be.
Friday Rest is our weekly invitation to slow things down before the weekend begins. Settle in for restorative movement and a sound bath, enjoy seasonal refreshments, spend time in the garden, orchard or Den, or simply find a quiet corner and do absolutely nothing for a while.
You can join us for the full morning or book the individual yoga and sound bath sessions separately. Stay for as much or as little as you need.
No rushing, no packed schedule, just a few hours deliberately left a little slower.

Our monthly Slow Sunday is a chance to step away from the noise of the week and spend a few unhurried hours looking after yourself.
We combine restorative yoga, deep relaxation and a sound bath with a seasonal shared lunch, fresh juices and time to simply enjoy The Barn, garden and countryside around you.
Come on your own or bring someone with you. There’s nothing to prepare for, no experience needed and no pressure to do anything other than enjoy the morning.
Slow Sunday takes place once a month and spaces are deliberately limited to keep it relaxed and personal.

Our three Signature Wellbeing Retreats — The Space Between, The Elements and Wild & Free — each offer a different way to slow down, reconnect and spend some proper time on yourself.
From deeply restorative experiences to days built around creativity, movement, nature and play, each retreat has its own character and carefully designed journey. There’s no experience needed and no expectation to be anything other than yourself.
Each Signature Retreat runs four times a year, giving you the chance to discover the one that feels most like you — or experience all three.
£98 per person with the option to add treatments after booking.

Yin Yoga is a slow, grounding style of yoga that focuses on longer, supported holds rather than flowing movement. It works gently into the deeper tissues of the body such as fascia, joints and connective tissue, helping to improve mobility while encouraging the nervous system to settle. Poses are usually done seated or lying down, often with props like bolsters and blankets so the body can fully relax.
It’s suitable for all abilities, including complete beginners, those returning after injury, or anyone who simply prefers a quieter pace. There’s no pressure to stretch further or push harder. The emphasis is on comfort, awareness and allowing the body to soften gradually. Many people find it helps reduce stress, ease tension and create a calm, steady sense of wellbeing that carries beyond the mat.
A sound bath is a deeply relaxing experience where you rest comfortably while therapeutic sounds and gentle vibrations wash over you. Instruments such as singing bowls, chimes and gongs create layered tones that many people find calming for both body and mind. There’s nothing you need to do other than settle in, stay warm and allow the sounds to support a sense of ease.
It’s suitable for all abilities and is often enjoyed by people looking to reduce stress, improve sleep or simply carve out some quiet space for themselves.
Our Rest Days are open to everyone and are designed to feel welcoming whether you’re completely new to this kind of experience or already familiar with it. Everything is guided in a clear, accessible way and you’re always encouraged to go at your own pace. There’s no expectation to have prior experience, just a willingness to take some time for yourself and settle into the day in whatever way feels right for you.
If you are unable to get up and down from the floor please contact us before booking at info@thebarnretreats.co.uk
