You know something needs to change. Now comes making that change work in real life.
Understanding what's happening and knowing what might help are important first steps. But turning that understanding into meaningful, sustainable change isn't always straightforward.
The Barn Implementation Programme is a six-month, small-group coaching programme designed to bridge the gap between knowing what you want to change and actually making it happen.
Through practical learning, shared experiences, structured support and real-world experimentation, we'll help you develop approaches that work for you and your life.
This isn't about completely reinventing yourself. It's about making meaningful changes that you can actually maintain.
Duration: Six months
Sessions: Nine group coaching sessions
Session length: 90 minutes
Group size: Maximum eight participants
Format: In person at The Barn or live online
Price: £595 for the complete programme

Our Transformational Retreats help you explore particular challenges, understand what's happening and discover approaches that may help.
The Implementation Programme takes that work further.
Rather than focusing on one particular challenge, we concentrate on something everyone faces when trying to make a change: putting what you've learned into practice when everyday life inevitably gets in the way.
Whether you're working on anxiety, overwhelm, boundaries, confidence, adapting to health problems or making sustainable lifestyle changes, the underlying process is often surprisingly similar.
And you don't need to have attended one of our retreats to join us.
Nine sessions. Six months. Real-life change.
The programme combines nine 90-minute small-group coaching sessions with practical activities and opportunities to experiment between meetings.
We meet more frequently during the first three months, giving you the opportunity to establish your direction, try new approaches and build momentum.
During the final three months, sessions become monthly. This gives you more independence and time to practise what you've learned, while retaining the support of the group.
Throughout the programme, we'll work through a shared process:
SEE — Understand what's happening and recognise the patterns influencing your choices.
CHOOSE — Identify what matters to you and decide where to focus your efforts.
TRY — Experiment with realistic changes and practical strategies.
LEARN — Reflect on your experiences, including what hasn't worked.
ADAPT — Adjust your approach, build confidence and develop changes you can sustain.
There are no unrealistic promises, rigid routines or expectations of perfection. The emphasis is on learning what works for you.

The Implementation Programme is designed for people who are ready to move beyond understanding their challenges and begin making practical changes.
You might be looking to manage anxiety or overwhelm, establish healthier boundaries, rebuild confidence, adapt to a long-term health problem or make sustainable changes to your health and wellbeing.
You don't need to have everything figured out before you start. You simply need something you'd like to work towards and a willingness to explore what might help.
This programme is particularly suited to you if:
✅ You understand that meaningful
change takes time and practice.
✅ You've tried making changes
before but struggled to maintain them.
✅ You'd value structure, accountability
and support.
✅ You're comfortable learning and
reflecting alongside a small group.
The programme provides coaching and practical wellbeing support. It isn't psychotherapy, counselling, medical treatment or a substitute for specialist mental health care.
Different Experiences. Shared Learning.
Although everyone joins the programme with different circumstances and goals, many of the challenges we encounter when trying to make changes are remarkably similar.
Working in a small group gives you the opportunity to hear different perspectives, learn from other people's experiences and discover approaches you might never have considered yourself.
With a maximum of eight participants, there's time for individual contributions, shared problem-solving and meaningful discussion.
Some sessions will introduce new ideas and practical tools. Others will provide more open opportunities to explore what's working, what isn't and what you might try next.
You won't be expected to share anything you're uncomfortable discussing. Your goals and the decisions you make remain your own.

We offer both in-person and live online programmes, making it possible to choose the format that works for your circumstances.

Our wider team, including Gemma Sizer, contributes complementary expertise across movement, physical wellbeing and restorative practices.

No. Our retreats are one possible starting point, but the Implementation Programme is also available to people who haven't previously attended The Barn.
Not necessarily. The programme brings together people working towards different goals. Rather than delivering condition-specific treatment, we focus on the shared process of implementing meaningful change.
You'll have opportunities to put what you've learned into practice, experiment with different approaches and reflect on your experiences. These activities are designed to fit into everyday life rather than create an additional source of pressure.
That's an important part of the programme. We explore what happens when plans meet real life and use those experiences to adjust your approach. You won't be expected to arrive at every session reporting success.
No. You're encouraged to participate and contribute, but you decide what you're comfortable sharing. We establish clear expectations around respecting one another's privacy.
The online programme follows the same methodology and structure as the in-person version, delivered through live, interactive sessions.
No. This is a coaching programme focused on practical change and implementation. It isn't psychotherapy, counselling, medical treatment or crisis support.
