Our Rest Days are thoughtfully curated experiences designed to reduce stress, ease physical tension and restore your energy in a meaningful way.


Through guidance, movement, connection,  therapeutic support and time to properly switch off these days give you the space and support you need to take a real break from everyday life.


Whether you need support with chronic pain, fatigue, anxiety, burn out or simply need a day to yourself where the only expectation is for you to relax then these days are designed for you. 

THE FRIDAY REST

The Friday Rest is a carefully guided morning designed to help you release tension and enter your weekend feeling lighter and more steady. These sessions make a great introduction to The Barn if you're joining us for the first time and require no previous experience.


You’ll begin with a calming yin yoga session , a slow and supportive practice designed to help you relax, ease tension and give your body the time and space to truly settle. From there, you’ll move into a restorative sound bath, allowing your mind to slow and your system to properly unwind.


The morning concludes with locally sourced refreshments and unhurried time to rest in the space. No rushing off. Just space to sit, reflect or simply breathe before stepping back into your day.


Price: £30 per person

Approximate duration: 3.5 hours

THE RESTORATIVE REST

AVAILABLE TUESDAYS & FRIDAYS 

 

A fully hosted day designed to ease stress, reduce tension and restore your energy in a meaningful way.


The Restorative Reset offers a carefully structured blend of movement, therapeutic treatment and guided regulation, giving your body and mind the time they rarely receive in daily life.


You are guided gently from one session to the next, with space built in to rest, eat well and properly switch off.


WHAT YOUR DAY INCLUDES


🌿 A 60–90 minute restorative group yoga session

 Designed to release physical tension 


🌿 Light refreshments 


🌿 Your choice of a personalised 1:1 session
Choose either:

• A 45-minute treatment (massage, reflexology, Reiki or facial), delivered with a focus on deep rest and physical release

or

• A 60-minute coaching session focused on chronic pain, nervous system regulation, anxiety or overwhelm. These sessions are practical and grounded, offering personalised strategies you can apply beyond the day itself.

🌿 Time to decompress

Yin Yoga is a slow, grounding style of yoga that focuses on longer, supported holds rather than flowing movement. It works gently into the deeper tissues of the body such as fascia, joints and connective tissue, helping to improve mobility while encouraging the nervous system to settle. Poses are usually done seated or lying down, often with props like bolsters and blankets so the body can fully relax.


It’s suitable for all abilities, including complete beginners, those returning after injury, or anyone who simply prefers a quieter pace. There’s no pressure to stretch further or push harder. The emphasis is on comfort, awareness and allowing the body to soften gradually. Many people find it helps reduce stress, ease tension and create a calm, steady sense of wellbeing that carries beyond the mat.


A sound bath is a deeply relaxing experience where you rest comfortably while therapeutic sounds and gentle vibrations wash over you. Instruments such as singing bowls, chimes and gongs create layered tones that many people find calming for both body and mind. There’s nothing you need to do other than settle in, stay warm and allow the sounds to support a sense of ease. 


It’s suitable for all abilities and is often enjoyed by people looking to reduce stress, improve sleep or simply carve out some quiet space for themselves.


Our Rest Days are open to everyone and are designed to feel welcoming whether you’re completely new to this kind of experience or already familiar with it. Everything is guided in a clear, accessible way and you’re always encouraged to go at your own pace. There’s no expectation to have prior experience, just a willingness to take some time for yourself and settle into the day in whatever way feels right for you.

Yes. Many guests attend solo, especially for our Friday Rest.

We’re based in the Warwickshire countryside, around 25 minutes from Stratford-upon-Avon and Banbury, and just over an hour from Oxford, Cheltenham and Birmingham. 


The whole day was wonderful from start to finish, and I felt well and truly welcomed and looked after. I thoroughly recommend The Barn and will most certainly be back!
