Join us in spending time outdoors and experience the benefits of afternoons spent relaxing in the natural world.
Most of us spend the majority of our time indoors, under artificial light and constant stimulation. An afternoon outside, even briefly, can shift that pattern.
Natural light, open space and fresh air all influence the nervous system. Your breathing slows, your focus widens and physical tension begins to ease. Add heat, and the effect deepens. Sauna increases circulation, encourages muscular release and creates a short, contained stress response that is followed by a period of settling as the body cools. That contrast is often what people describe as feeling “reset” — clearer, steadier and more at ease.
Wild Rest Afternoons are designed around that sequence. Time in the elements, followed by nourishment and then stillness. A half-day experience that balances activation with rest.

Arrive at The Barn at 1.00pm and settle in before we travel together to the nearby Wild Sauna and Hot Tub. Surrounded by nature, you will have time to warm, soak and unwind in the elements, complete with foraged teas and the chance to take a dip in the river before returning to The Barn at 2.45pm.
At 3.00pm we gather around the table for a seasonal late lunch featuring locally sourced ingredients, including buffalo blue cheese from our neighbouring herd. Expect generous platters, simple flavours and unhurried conversation.
At 4.00pm we move into cacao and sound. A warming cup of ceremonial cacao is followed by a deeply immersive sound bath, designed to settle your system and leave you feeling restored.
We finish between 5.00 and 5.30pm, leaving you grounded, nourished and steady.

Wild Rest Afternoons are limited to eight guests to keep the experience calm, spacious and carefully held. Booking is on a first come, first served basis.
